My name is Cathy Evason and I have been offering Gestalt counselling and psychotherapy in Bristol and Bath for the past 15 years. I am an MBACP accredited practitioner and am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment; a space to explore difficulties and find resolution.

I work with individuals on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

I am experienced in helping clients with a wide range of difficulties. People seek therapy for a variety of reasons :

Trying to manage a relationship difficulty with a partner, parent or child

Experiencing anxiety or panic attacks

Self-esteem issues or a lack of confidence

Feeling stressed

A bereavement or illness affecting their life

Feeling dissatisfied at work or facing redundancy

Suffering from depression

Sexuality issues

Recovering from past trauma or abuse

Creative blocks or wanting to connect more creatively with life

Gestalt counselling can help resolve difficulties by developing awareness and understanding, opening up new creative possibilities and making change possible.

I also offer supervision for counsellors and others working in the helping professions to support them in developing and staying effective in their work.

My counselling, psychotherapy and supervision practice is in Bristol and Bath, within easy reach of Chippenham, Batheaston, Frome, Calne, Keynsham, Saltford, Bradford-on-Avon, Corsham, Melksham, Box, Chipping Sodbury and Thornbury.
